Saltaire Ballet Swans was created and is run by
Sammy Murray a former pupil of
the Royal Ballet School in London.
She is now a highly respected and experienced professional choreographer for Film, TV, and Theatre.
When Sammy returned to Yorkshire after working some 25 years in London and across the world she stepped into Saltaire's beautiful Victoria Hall and was immediately inspired to establish a ballet class.
Eight years later the Saltaire Ballet Swans are 
an ever-growing close community of ladies and gents enjoying both the physical and mental benefits of ballet.
"Ballet is for everyone and I wanted to make it accessible to anyone who wanted to give it a try, it doesn't matter if you haven't done ballet before we are all there to share an hour of what we love together."
